Quality Jewelry Repair (QJR) Return & Refund Policy

At Quality Jewelry Repair (QJR), we want you to feel confident when shopping with us. Every piece is carefully selected and prepared before dispatch. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for online orders.
1. General Return Policy
We accept returns on eligible products within 7 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging (not torn or damaged).
- All tags, boxes, certificates, and accessories must be included.
Any product that does not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Some items are made or prepared specifically for you and cannot be returned. These include:
- Engraved or personalized jewelry
- Custom-made or made-to-order pieces
- Items purchased on final sale or clearance (up to 30–50% discount or more)
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons, unless faulty)
- Gift cards
Once these items are processed or delivered, they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
3. Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must be in the same condition as received. Returns will not be accepted if:
- The item shows signs of wear, damage, resizing, or alteration
- The product has been used, scratched, or mishandled
- The original packaging is missing, torn, or not in resalable condition
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these standards.
4. Return Timeframe
Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery, and the item must be sent back within 7 days after approval.
Requests made after this period may not be accepted.
5. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for approval and return instructions.
- Securely pack the item and ship it back to us.
Please Note:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status.
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Please allow up to 21 working days for the amount to reflect.
If the return does not meet our conditions, it may be rejected depending on the situation.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.
After verification, we will offer:
- A replacement
- Or store credit
8. Exchanges
We may offer exchanges for eligible items, subject to availability.
If the requested item is not available, store credit may be offered instead.
9. Shipping & Delivery Charges
Shipping, handling, and insurance charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
10. Inspection Before Refund
All returned items are inspected before any refund is approved. We will require the product to be physically returned before making any decision.
11. Right to Refuse Returns
QJR reserves the right to refuse any return that:
- Does not comply with this policy
- Shows signs of misuse or damage after delivery
- Is returned outside the allowed timeframe
12. Cancellation Policy (Services)
Because all repair and restoration work is carried out specifically for your item, cancellations are handled carefully and depend on the stage of the service.
Before Work Begins
You may request a cancellation before any work has started. In such cases, any advance payment may be refunded partially or in full after deducting:
- Inspection or assessment charges
- Any material or sourcing costs already incurred
After Work Has Started
Once work has begun, cancellations are not refundable.
Custom or Special Work
Services involving custom sizing or stone sourcing cannot be cancelled once those processes have started.
We always aim to be fair and transparent. If you need to cancel, it’s best to contact us as early as possible so we can guide you based on your specific case.
